Move In With Confidence

We make move-in day smooth. Follow this checklist so utilities, documents, and your condition report are all handled before you get the keys.

  • Set up utilities before your move-in date
  • Complete your move-in condition report
  • Bring a cashier's check for move-in costs

Before moving into a DFW Property Management rental, tenants must sign the lease, pay all move-in costs via cashier's check, set up utilities, obtain renter's insurance, and register pets. On move-in day, complete the condition form and return it within 3 days to protect your security deposit.

Before Move-In

  • Sign lease within 1 business day of approval
  • Pay all move-in costs via cashier's check (admin fee + deposit + first month's rent + pet fees)
  • Set up utilities in your name (electric, gas, water, trash)
  • Obtain renter's insurance (required)
  • Register pets at dfwpropertymanagement.petscreening.com (if applicable)
