Types of Walkthroughs
DFW Property Management conducts four types of property walkthroughs for rental homes in Dallas-Fort Worth: take-over inspections when onboarding, move-in and move-out condition reports for every lease cycle, and scheduled property walkthroughs (annual for Gold, semi-annual for Platinum) with detailed photo documentation and maintenance recommendations.

Move-In Walkthrough
Comprehensive documentation of the property's condition before the tenant takes possession. Includes room-by-room photo and video documentation, appliance testing, and a detailed checklist of existing conditions. This baseline report protects both the owner and tenant.

Move-Out Walkthrough
Side-by-side comparison with the move-in report to identify any damages beyond normal wear and tear. Our detailed documentation supports fair security deposit determinations and provides evidence if disputes arise. Repair estimates are documented with contractor quotes.

Periodic Walkthroughs
Scheduled walkthroughs during the tenancy to check for maintenance issues, lease compliance, and general property condition. We look for signs of unreported damage, pest issues, HVAC filter changes, smoke detector functionality, and overall property care.

Drive-By Walkthroughs
